Haiku

The condemned meth house
Was loved once.  Tulips gaze up
At boarded windows.

Pigeons tend their young
On the roof of the porn shop
Where love is defiled

Daffodil heralds
Raise golden trumpets to sound
A fanfare to Spring.

Gleaming fairy-eyes
The wanton winks of fireflies
Sparking in the night
